INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE SUBMISSION
PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that your information
be prepared in a word processing document and saved to your hard
drive or disk, prior to beginning the submission process. During
the online process, you may use your computer's cut and paste
feature to transfer the information from your document into the
required fields. This will minimize your time online and prevent
lost data. Online typing and/or composition of the detailed written
material is not recommended.
Required Information:
Author Information
• Detailed information for each presenting author, including
a biographical sketch of each author. Please prepare this information
carefully; it will appear in the convention program.
Title of Proposal
• Not to exceed 10 words
Abstract of Proposal
• Not to exceed 50 words. Prepare this information carefully; it will appear in the convention program.
Summary of Proposal
• Not to exceed 1000 words. It is recommended that you use the cut and paste feature of your word processing program to paste the information into the required fields. Online composition/typing is not recommended.
Content Area
• Please choose the convention strand which best represents
the content and audience appeal of your proposal: Audiology, Medical,
School-age, Infant/Toddler/Preschool, or Multi-Interest.
Session Format
• Please choose the format through which your information may
best be shared with your colleagues: Short course (3 hours), seminar
(2 hours), instructional/technical session (1 hour), or poster
session.
Instructional Level
• Please choose the instructional level of the information you will be providing. This will inform the audience of the level of depth and knowledge of the information.
Learner Objectives:
• Please include 2 or 3 learner objectives for your proposal. Prepare this information carefully. Learner objectives must be measurable (see examples). The learner objectives will also appear in the convention program.
