It’s not too early to begin thinking about the annual ArSHA Silent Auction.
The Silent Auction will take place during the ArSHA Annual Convention which will be held April 23-24 in Tempe, AZ. Viewing of the items and bidding will take place on April 23 from 8:00am to 4:00pm and on April 24 from 8:00am to 1:00pm. Proceeds from this event will benefit ArSHA’s projects to build awareness of the field of speech-language pathology and audiology.
As a change this year, members and attendees are invited to donate items or gift baskets for the auction. I encourage you to pull together a group of co-workers and/or friends to create a basket to donate to ArSHA that will highlight your practice, school district, university, or rehab department. Perhaps we could get some friendly competition and bidding between groups as you help to create revenue for ArSHA’s works. You will be recognized on the ArSHA web page and in the convention brochure.
And any individual or member of a group who donates a gift basket or item worth at least $50.00 will be entered into a drawing to win one free registration for the 2011 ArSHA Annual Convention. Use the donation form today to donate an item or basket.
