The ArSHA Public Relations Committee will soon be soliciting donations from individuals and businesses for its Silent Auction, which will be held at the 49th Annual Convention in the Phoenix area this spring, 2009.
 
We will be using the money gained from the auction to help fund our legislative efforts for 2009.  Some events that the fund is supporting right now include licensure for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, certification changes, and the ArSHA-ASHA Focused Initiative on Personnel Issues.  ArSHA will recognize all donors in its convention program and on the website.  
 
Please consider volunteering a few hours of your time to help solicit donations of gift cards, services, or items from individuals and businesses for this very worthwhile activity and/or to help monitor the actual Silent Auction at convention time.  Think about it; contact me for further information at labrozzik@cox.net.
