HB2439 Signed by the Governor! PDF Print E-mail

With the financial assistance of a grant provided by the Audiology Foundation of America, HB2439 received final approval by the Arizona Legislature and was signed by the governor the third week of April, 2007.  Many people in the audiology community, ArSHA lobbyist, Jason Isaak, and consumers worked diligently to get HB2439 passed.  Some compromises were necessary, but the main issue of aligning the educational requirements for audiology licensure in Arizona with the educational reality of the AuD as the new entry level for audiologists is now written into Arizona licensure statute.
