ISAD (International Stuttering Awareness Day) is October 22. In celebration, the ISAD Online Conference "DON'T BE AFRAID OF STUTTERING" is linked from the Stuttering Home Page www.stutteringhomepage.com and "live" from October 1-22, 2008. The online conference itself is freely available, but is also available for 1.5 CEU's (15 hours) or 1 semester credit. To learn how to register, a link is provided to Mankato State University. This online conference is intended not only for SLPs including students but also for people who stutter, their families, and friends. In addition a BROCHURE for ISAD 2008 is available to download in PDF format and can be shared with your students/clients.
