The AFA will reconsider this decision in early 2006. The outcome of the meeting is to identify and discuss potential areas for future research related to mild and unilateral hearing loss.
MiscellaneousASHA has been invited by the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Foundation to be a part of the opening ceremony for their annual meeting in Los Angeles, September 26-28, 2005. On May 14-15-16, forty-two professionals (mostly pediatric audiologists) convened at ASHA to participate in a meeting of audiologists in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopment and Related Disabilities (LEND) programs.
