The Director of Clinical Education for the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at Northern Arizona University (NAU) oversees the practicum and externship experiences for students in the Clinical Speech-Language Pathology program. The Director of Clinical Education acts as a liaison between the academic program administration, faculty, training sites, and students. This role is a faculty with administrative duties (FAD) where the base faculty contract is a 9-month (AY) clinical faculty position with an incoming rank either as an assistant clinical professor or associate clinical professor. This position will include an administrative appointment to direct clinical education. The additional administrative appointment includes 3 months of summer pay to result in a 12-month annual contract. The amount of summer work assignment may be negotiable based on department and student needs.
