Our Speech Team is growing! We are hiring SLPs or SLTs for the 2023-2024 school year!  Florence SLPs either work independently or utilize the SLP/SLPA model (therapist choice) and we provide SLPToolkit and the Informed SLP for all of our team members. We have multiple layers of support available to our new therapists. 

The Florence Unified School District #1 is proud to serve the Florence and San Tan Valley Communities. We are located in the southeast side of the greater Phoenix area. This area, with over 100,000 residents, is one of the fastest growing communities in Arizona. We offer a year calendar with two week breaks in the fall and spring and a three week break in winter totaling 16 weeks off per year. Our school year starts in mid July. 

The SLP contract is 192 days with a salary range starting at 71,000 but your salary will be higher based on education and job experience. We also provide a $2500 stipend for therapists with their CCCs. Employees are a part of the Arizona State Retirement System and receive a benefits package.  Appropriate license issued by the Arizona Department of Health Services is required.
