Dear Colleague,

The Conference Committee is pleased to announce our Annual Speech-Language Conference, to be held on Friday, March 1st, 2019 from 7:15 AM until 3:30 PM. Registration is 7:15 AM until 7:45 AM.

This 6-hour ASHA approved course, presented by Char Boshart, M.A., CCC-SLP, shares a variety of highly effective, sequential strategies to increase the success of your therapy with your challenging articulation cases. As speech language pathologists, we encounter students or clients with multiple articulation errors and those with errors that persist regardless of our best efforts. Topics include strategies for challenging /s/ and /r/ cases, establishing carryover, teacher and parent collaboration for articulation, and student motivation strategies designed to decrease overall therapy time. Conference content primarily focuses on the cognitively aware K-12 grade articulation delayed child.

Please share the information with any other interested parties, graduate school interns, educators, or other speech language pathologists, who may benefit from this course.

Please note that under ASHA regulations, partial credit is not an option for those unable to attend the entire conference day. ASHA requires attendee signatures for both morning and afternoon sessions. Seating is limited, so please submit your online registration soon.
