Briana McIntosh
SLP Student Representative, Midwestern University
Briana is a first-year graduate student in Speech Language Pathology at Midwestern University and a graduate from Arizona State University. She was a speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA), working in the Arizona schools prior to attending Midwestern. She is the Treasurer for MWU’s chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association, a MWU student ambassador, and a member of H.O.M.E. (Health Outreach Through Medicine and Education). One piece of advice to other students would be to step outside of your comfort zone and get involved in as many clubs and volunteer opportunities that you can manage; take advantage of the seemingly endless potential for personal and professional growth.
