Lindsey Hiebert

Lindsey Hiebert, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is an Assistant Professor at Northern Arizona University (NAU) and Director of the Bilingual Intervention and Language Learning (BILL) lab. She earned a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas and completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Delaware. Her research interests include dual language development and disorders, and intervention in bilingual preschool and school-age children. She is an alumni of the NAU clinical master’s in SLP program and worked for five years in a variety of settings across Northern and Southern Arizona with culturally and linguistically diverse populations. Her publications to date include longitudinal observations of language and reading development in Spanish-English bilingual children across three or more years, and language intervention paired with science curriculum for children with developmental language disorder (DLD).
